Young and old, come and celebrate on Christmas Eve at Waiapu Cathedral!

We welcome families to bring their children (and perhaps the grandparents) to our family Christmas play from 6.00-7.00pm. Our lovely Young People’s Choir will sing carols.  Your children might enjoy dressing up (so can the adults!) and taking part in this fun, interactive play about the Christmas story.  Come as an angel, shepherd, king or even a sheep? … or just come just as yourself.  All welcome.

Many adults love coming out on a mild starry summer night for our special for Midnight Mass service. Candles, choir and the eucharist make for a special time at the end of our waiting for the Christmas morning and our celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The service is from 11.000pm until just after midnight when you can wish each other “Merry Christmas”.
