Other Ministries and Pastoral Care
We offer
PASTORAL CARE
The Cathedral clergy are available to share and minister in life’s deepest moments , moments of grief or joy, such as funerals and weddings.
Cathedral clergy and trained volunteers offer pastoral care, visiting the sick and anyone in need of care or home communion.
Anyone seeking pastoral care, communion at home or formal services for life’s important moments can personally discuss this with any of the clergy or contact the Cathedral office 835 8824, 021 754161.
Other Ministries
You can check the Volunteering page for information on how you can be involved in the life of the Cathedral and its parish.
Spirituality Centre
The Cathedral hosts the Diocesan ‘Spirituality Centre’ offering opportunities for spiritual direction and small group peer supervision.
Bible Study
A friendly Bible study group meets in parishioners homes, and provides newcomers with a comfortable opportunity to deepen their faith and for older Christians to share in a closer understanding of the Gospels.
Meets every second Wednesday at 10.00am. All welcome, and please contact the Cathedral office for details.
