Hawke’s Bay’s Civic Commemoration Service at Waiapu Cathedral in Napier

A civic service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be held at Waiapu Cathedral, Browning St, Napier on Monday 26 September at 4pm.

The service will be an opportunity for Hawke’s Bay people to come together to show their respect for Her Majesty and give thanks for her life. 

Cathedral Dean the Very Reverend Di Woods will lead the one hour service which will be open to everyone. The service will be attended by the Mayor of Napier, the Deputy Mayor of Hastings, the Bishop of Waiapu, and representatives of local and regional councils, community groups and regional organisations.

A Book of Condolence is located within the Cathedral, which is open every day, for anyone who wants to express their thoughts on the passing of Her Majesty.
