The choirs of Waiapu Cathedral will present their spring concert on Sunday 7 September, 2.30pm at Waiapu Cathedral, Napier.

Both the adult and young people’s choirs will sing songs of peace and hope in their concert Echoes of Peace: a choral journey – celebrating harmony spirit and blessing through song.

The choirs are lead by the Cathedral’s musician director Anthony Tattersall who will also play the cathedral organ for some pieces.

The programme includes pieces by contemporary composers John Rutter, Ola Gjeilo and Eric Whitacre, as well as some songs that hint of danger and war, from which peace is a haven. 

Adults $25, seniors and students $20, children free.  Door sales only – cash and eftpos.

ACCESS: There are a few disability parks outside the cathedral, but also a drop off zone outside the main doors for passengers before you park elsewhere.
