Divine Deco at the Cathedral during the Art Deco Festival provides a time for spiritual reflection and rejuvenating with music of the era!

Said Eucharist, 8.00 – 9.00am
Celebrating new life, this simple eucharist (communion) service focuses on the hope emerging from the Great Depression and the devastating 1931 Earthquake.  Share a coffee with parishioners after the service. 

Sung Eucharist, 10.00-11.00am
Celebrate Art Deco style and swing with a special jazz choral mass setting with the voices of the Waiapu Cathedral Choir accompanied by the Cathedral Strings.  Join us for coffee after the service.

Jazzing Up Church, 4.00-5.00pm (doors open at 3.00pm)
Join us for a gospel and jazz infused service to remember the courage and resilience of the Cathedral and city, including a salute to the tremendous importance of the military and other service personnel following the earthquake.  
Featuring the Waiapu Cathedral Choir under the direction of Anthony Tattersall, and the Hawke’s Brass Quintet.  Koha/donation.
